Why is NovelPad a subscription?
NovelPad is a subscription rather than a one-time fee because it includes a ProWritingAid integration (which is a monthly cost), as well as access to writing workshops. In addition to those perks, the subscription model makes it possible for the developers to keep dropping awesome updates.
What does NovelPad cost?

What do you get with a NovelPad subscription?
A subscription to NovelPad comes with full access to the sickest writing tool available, of course, but users also get entry into NovelPad's writing workshops! Users are matched with other writers in their genre, taught how to use a workshop, then regularly swap writing and critique to learn and grow from each other.
How do I use NovelPad offline?
NovelPad automatically switches to offline mode if you lose internet connection. This saves your work locally, then syncs again when you regain connection. To open NovelPad offline initially, you’ll want to open it out of your browser beforehand.
To do this on a desktop, click the square and arrow icon in your browser window, then select "NovelPad."
On mobile, open your browser menu and simply select "Open NovelPad."
These will give you a NovelPad shortcut on your desktop/phone, which you can use to access NovelPad offline.
Is NovelPad secure?
NovelPad has two main security features: automatic backups every 60 seconds to a secure cloud, and Rewind. NovelPad Rewind enables users to select any point in time of their project, down to the minute, to restore to.
